Research on focus and productivity consistently shows that limiting your active commitments leads to better outcomes. Three is enough to make meaningful progress without spreading yourself thin. Anchor enforces this limit so you don't have to.
All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to our servers. Your priorities, backlog, and streaks stay on your iPhone.
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Anchor can show your existing events alongside your priorities and create new calendar events for scheduled work. This uses Google's standard OAuth sign-in and only accesses your calendar data — never your email or other Google services. You can disconnect at any time.
At the end of each day, incomplete priorities stay on that day. You can punt them to tomorrow, move them back to your backlog, or leave them as-is. Anchor won't nag you — it's your call.
Anchor is currently available for iPhone (iOS 18+). We're considering other platforms for the future.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app removes all your data. If you've connected Google Calendar, you can revoke Anchor's access from your Google Account settings.
